Our little baby is now 6 months old! We gave him rice cereal for the first time on his 6-month birthday... I don't know who was more excited - me, or Sammy! Turns out he loves rice cereal and "ate" almost the whole bowl. (I use the term "ate" loosely - as his first serving was so runny, seemed like he was drinking it from the spoon!) Samuel had fun blowing rice cereal bubbles on his spoon and pounded the highchair tray each time he wanted another spoonful! We're giving him this yummy dinner each night and will start serving it at breakfast once he gets the concept down a little more... :) (Scroll to the bottom for some video action of the rice cereal!)
Oh - and for those of you who haven't seen yet, I was able to take a picture of his new teeth... what a cutie! When he smiles really big, you can see them - it is adorable! Aren't his eyes so beautifully blue in this photo?!?
We also took our little guy to a park one afternoon - and just like his buddy Evan, Sammy took his first ride on the park swing! (As much as we tried, he didn't crack one smile!)
Lastly, Samuel is getting so good at sitting up! I snapped these pictures while he was sitting all by himself and playing with his toys... if he's balanced just right, he can sit for about 30-45 seconds or so before he topples over. In the second picture, you can see a drip of Sammy's drool falling in mid-air!
Oh - and for those of you who haven't seen yet, I was able to take a picture of his new teeth... what a cutie! When he smiles really big, you can see them - it is adorable! Andrew even taught Samuel how to drink the last drops of milk from the cereal bowl!

Yeah Sammy! Evan can't wait to play with you. He looks forward to eating with you too, rice cereal sure is yummy! It's fun to see Sammy and Evan going through the same milestones. Can't wait to see his stats next week. Love you guys!
He really loves his rice cereal! So cute, he's growing up :-) Can't wait till he can run around with Matthew!
