Camping at San Clemente

We spent this past Memorial Day weekend camping at the beach in San Clemente! It was so much fun and relaxing - and we had the best weather! Samuel loved being at the beach and playing with his new sand toys. He really loved playing with all the camping gear... especially our battery lantern and the zippers on the tent windows!

Other fun news about out little guy is that he is starting to talk a whole lot more now! He has replaced his frequent "shrieking" with more words, like baba, dada, and mama. He even throws in a wawa every now and then. :) He's also really good at giving kisses. :) On his 9-month birthday, Samuel decided he'd had enough of staying in one spot and started to move around on his own - army crawl style! We think he'll officially be crawling in about another month or so, so we'll keep you posted! :)

Last, but not least, we took some video of Sammy last night being silly at dinnertime. We think Samuel realized that he can make his mommy & daddy laugh just by making a funny face or noise... here it is!
