So Sammy made it about 17 1/2 months before needing his first hair cut! We decided he needed one, as his cute blonde hair was long enough in the back that we could technically tie it up in a baby ponytail! So we sat him in the little bumbo seat (he enjoys sitting in this seat and getting in and out of it all by himself, as it is just his size), we gave him a handful of cheetos, and turned on his FAVORITE show, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. He sat almost perfectly still, until he realized I was holding scissors, which is something he is truly fascinated by. I think its because he never gets to touch them, and he knows they are "sharp." Then he kept turning his head left to right trying to stare at the scissors. :) We saved all his baby locks from his first haircut! Here is our handsome boy in before and after shots!

And lastly, here are his locks so you can see just how much we cut off! :) We've got them saved in a tiny baggy in his baby book. For some reason they look a lot darker here than they do on his head. :)

They do look darker off of his head! So fun he had his first haircut, sounds like he did great - can't wait to see it! :)
Hooray for Sammy! He is such a big boy now!!! He looks so cute... you can definitely see a difference!
