Crayon Name Signs
I got the idea for my latest project from another blog that I happened across. There, the artist did just a first initial, but I thought it would be really fun to do the whole name! And thanks to the ever-so-sacred "naptime", as well as a super sale on crayons (I spent $6 and got three packs of 96-count crayons), I was able to finish this project in just a few days! I am very pleased with how they turned out! Andrew was kind enough to hang them up in the boys' rooms for me. It will be perfect when Micah is a little older and the boys share a room, to have the signs hung side by side. :)
I really wish that 'Samuel' or 'Sammy' could have fit in this shadow-box frame, but the letter "m" is just so wide, there was not enough room. So, I decided on the alternate nickname of 'Sam' and it fit quite well.
Micah's name fit just perfectly, and it really looks good all together!

You are such a clever mommy! I am glad that you are making time to continue with your creative projects. I admire how you've made your home so attractive and the boys' rooms so cute. I remember when I did a counted cross stitch...once...about 25 years ago. ;-)
