Samuel was given some money for his birthday and really, really wanted to get a "scooper-upper." So we browsed around and ordered him one online, and after waiting about a week, this came in the mail! I don't think you could get a bigger smile on his face if you tried! The next morning we took a walk to the park so he could try digging around in the sand. It is a hit! Thanks Gigi & Great Gramps!
In other news, Samuel is really growing up to be just like his Daddy - - with a servant heart & a helper attitude. Yesterday he was practically begging to help me with "big kid stuff" around the house. He happily swiffered the floor for me, wiped down appliances, and even learned how to fold the laundry (only the easy stuff) and was humming and having fun the whole time... so cute.
Last night was Sammy's first night of AWANA! He's in Cubbies this year, and in the same class as his cousin Leia, and his friends Callie, AJ & Matthew. Here is Samuel with his cousins Leia, Stryder & Indiana, all ready for the fun to begin!
