These past few weeks have been very fun & busy! We were super excited about the decision to get new quartz counters for our kitchen and they arrived in time for my 30th birthday on the 5th of this month! Here are some before, during and after pictures of the fun. We were without a kitchen for 2 weeks, leaving us to eat off paper plates with plastic utensils, and to do dishes in the bathroom sink. We've been calling this our "after tax season-6th wedding anniversary-mother's day-birthday-father's day gift!" :)
Before...
Andrew started the demo of our old tile counters all by himself! We won't specify exactly how far he got (the tile directly below the outlet) before calling for the contractor... nevertheless here's a picture to prove he worked on it! 
During: post-demolition left us with no sink, no stove, and very "green" plywood countertops for 2 weeks. Glad to help out the environment when we can!

We really love the look of our new counters & sink/stove. Such an improvement from our old, stained & cracked tile counters! :)
