Today marks day 11 of potty training, and really I couldn't be more PROUD of our little Samuel! He has mastered the 'concept' of going pee on the potty - - every time we sit him on there (or stand him in front of it), out it comes! Now, we're working on having him tell us when he has to go, before there is an accident! :) OH, and now he is wearing big boy underwear, voluntarily! This is one proud mama! :)
This week my sister and 2 of Sammy's cousins came over to play. Here they are all swinging together, posing for the camera & showing us their muscles. :)

One night this week, Sammy was coloring so nicely & quietly at the table while we were getting dinner ready... unbeknownst to us, he thought it would be more fun to color all over his arms & hands instead of on the coloring book. (Of course!)

Last night Andrew took us on a family date to the beach. We had a take-out dinner picnic, explored the beach with flashlights, threw rocks and built night-time sandcastles. This was followed by some yummy fro-yo. :) We are thankful to live in such a beautiful place! My favorite part about going to the beach in the evening was that there was no sunscreen required!
Sammy actually went on this family date entirely diaperless. He wore his underwear the whole time and we didn't have any accidents while we were out! (Of course, just our luck, there was an accident right when we got home, so we almost made it the entire day without any accidents!)
Samuel loves to build sandcastles, but his favorite part of all is to smash them down about 2 seconds after they are built. :)

That's it for now! Only 5 more days until we get to know if this little baby inside me is a boy or a girl! I am so anxious to find out! :)

So proud of Sammy! That is awesome...Evan is still not totally into it...he has talked about it more lately, so we have the potty seats out, but no actual pee in the potty yet! That date night out at the beach looked wonderful- great idea. Also, can't wait to find about about Baby D #2 too! Yippee! We will be praying the baby cooperates. :) Also, Evan's head looks much better, except he somehow got another bruise on his noise the other day...don't know how he actually got it because he didn't really cry about anything yesterday...those crazy boys! Love ya miss ya, Kim
Hooray Sammy! I am so proud of you!!! What a big boy you are! Tell Thomas and Percy I said Hi!!!
Good job, Big Boy Sammy! I am so proud of you too! I can't wait to see you next weekend! OX Grammy
Great job with the potty training, Sam! You're a whiz (heehee)! Jessica, just wondering, have you shown Sammy the picture of your permanent-marker masterpiece on your toddler tummy? anyone could tell the "epicenter" was right inside your belly button! ha! (& why you couldn't have gone for the crayola, wash-off-with-water markers instead of the stashed-away sharpie permanent ink markers is beyond me!) Anyway... tell Sammy Mamoe says this is the closest thing to tattoos she ever wants to see on his adorable arms. ;-)
