Our sweet, handsome Samuel turned THREE this morning. I can't believe three years have gone by already! .
This boy is so full of life. He has the sweetest heart of any boy I know, and I am so thankful for him! I give him kisses and hugs every chance I get, and tell him about a hundred times a day that I love him. But, I still don't know if a three year old can understands a parent's love? Its just like God's love for us. God loves us so much; more than we can ever understand. Thank you God for Samuel! Thank you God for making me a Mommy!
Here are a handful of joyous moments I love about Samuel, to celebrate the life of our now three-year-old boy! :)
I love his imagination and how he will play pretend for hours, if you're doing it with him.
I love the way he gets so excited for something fun, like going to play with some friends, or having his cousins come to his house, or going swimming or to Legoland... he jumps up and down, clapping his hands and shouts, "YAY!" at the top of his lungs!
I love how he really wants to please his mommy & daddy, even when he isn't doing so. :)

I love how he talks sweetly to his baby brother.
I love how he plays with my hair, and when I wear it in a ponytail, he plays with it and says "pony-pony-ponytail!). :)
I love to look in his eyes when we touch foreheads together.
I love how he gives three-way kisses with his Mommy & Daddy!
I love how he tells his Daddy to "drive safe" to work every morning.
I love how he LOVES to be silly and to say funny words... and how his made-up word "mo-po" is the funniest of them all.
I love that he wants to play with us - all day! - and how he gets so excited when his "best friend" comes home from work each day.
I love his love for books, and how we can snuggle next to each other while I read to him.
I love his smile - the gap between his front teeth, and how his smile just melts my heart any moment of the day.
I love his timid, gentle spirit.
I love that he still lets me hold him.
and I love holding his hand, and how he'll fall asleep while holding my hand in the car.
.They are all precious moments, and we cherish every one of them. :)

Oh, Sammy looks so handsome and the video is darling beyond words! I love your post of all the precious things you love about Samuel! What a blessing for him to have such a loving mommy and daddy to teach him to love like God does. Of course, I love those same things about Sammy too and I also have some special Sammy/Grammy moments that I store in my heart too. I am so thankful that God gave you Sammy 3 years ago. He is such a treasure, a completely wonderful sweet little boy, so full of fun and laughter and kindness and love. Happy 3rd Birthday to you, Sammy, and Happy Birthing Day to you, beautiful Jessica! oh, we had SO MUCH FUN celebrating Sammy! we all love Sammy so much and Laylie just had a blast singing "Happy Birthday To Sammy" over and over again!

Wow! Sammy is such a great helper! He is truly such a sweet, gentle and kind boy. I cherish every moment when I am with him because he is such a joy. Thanks for sharing those sweet things you love about him. We love Sammy so much!
PS- I love how he sneezes right before he gives you (and the camera) a kiss. That is so funny and sweet!!!
