Last Saturday we joined my sister Jillian and her kids for a trip to the zoo. Samuel was very excited to see the animals, especially "Sammy the Seal" (from the book). Here's a group shot of us, except for Andrew, who was taking the picture. My sister always thinks to dress the kids in the same color - so its easy to spot them in a crowd and keep track of everyone. :)
Sammy was also super excited to see the monkeys! Here he was telling me what sound a monkey makes. :)
And below is my very favorite picture from the day! Stryder and Samuel were walking along in front of us, holding hands. :) Stryder was being a very helpful and caring older cousin and walking with Samuel, hand-in-hand. It just made me smile and I had to take a picture of it. I know that's exactly the kind of brother Samuel will be (and already is!) with baby Micah. I can't wait for the day that I get to snap a photo of the two of them walking hand-in-hand too!
