Happy St. Patrick's Day!

This year was a fun St. Patrick's Day for all of us.  That morning Samuel woke me up telling me all about what the leprechauns did around the house and to his bedroom!  In case you didn't know, leprechauns are mischevious, messy, and silly.  They do things like turn potty water green, mess up toys, scatter laundry and toilet paper about the floor, flip chairs upside-down, and toss couch cushions throughout the room - - all in the middle of the night while everyone is asleep.  But what's the one good thing they do?  Leave a little present somewhere hidden in the house!  Sam was quick to find his lucky treasure... a new green hot wheels truck!   (See picture below!)
Sammy showing off some of the mess that those silly leprechauns left behind!
The day started out with some yummy green chocolate chip pancakes.  Sammy loved them, but was a little hesitant to try them at first.  :)
My two lucky charms - all decked out in their green and ready to spend the day at Mamoe & Grandad's house for our 5th annual "hooley" (Irish party)!
(p.s. Thanks to Mom, Jillian & everyone for the delicious food and super fun day!)
And to end it all, a sweet little Irish blessing...  :)

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Oh, such cute little Irish lads! What a fun home to grow up in with those silly leprechauns pulling pranks like that! I can't wait to hear more about it from Sam the man! I'm still giggling. OX

pancakes, schmancakes... tell sam his mamoe says the only green food he should worry about eating is... green meat, haha. now, as for turning potty water green, messing up toys, scattering laundry & toilet paper about the floor, flipping chairs upside-down, & the tossing of couch cushions thruout the house -- hey, that sounds like a normal day here at mamoe & grandaddy's... so, i'm thinking that means stryder, indiana & leia are actually... leprechauns? ;-)
