We've been busy celebrating quite a few parties over the recent weekends! First off we had fun celebrating our nephew's Stryder's 8th birthday! We still remember meeting him when he was just a couple days old, and have loved watching our first nephew grow up to become such a delightful, inquisitive, busy, handsome, fun-loving and sweet-natured boy. :)

Next up is our brother Adam & his bride-to-be Lauren's engagement party. It was an extravagant affair and so fun to be gathered together with many of our family & friends. Would you take a look at this cake? Gorgeous! And so tasty..
And here are the flowers... the hydrangeas reminded me of our wedding!
Oh, and Micah's favorite part of the party was the dessert bar....

And last, but not least, was a super fun evening celebrating the marriage of Andrew's 2nd cousin, Carl Kasalek to his bride, Amy. We were especially excited to get dressed up and spend a night eating, dancing, and mingling without any kids! :) A HUGE thank you goes out to my parents & sister for babysitting our two treasures that whole afternoon & evening!
The wedding was at the Nixon Library & Birthplace in Yorba Linda. After the ceremony we explored the grounds a bit and were able to tour this cool helicopter that President Nixon flew in.
