On New Year's Eve, we loaded all three kids plus 4 suitcases, 3 backpacks, 3 car seats, 1 diaper bag, 1 stroller, 1 lunchbox, a boppy pillow and a teddy bear onto a plane and traveled across the country to Atlanta, Georgia! The occasion was certainly a grand one! We were going to meet our newest nephew, Lincoln Jesse Huddleston!
Here is the proud Mama & Dadda holding their precious baby boy!
And here's the little cutie - Lincoln Jesse!
While staying in Georgia, we visited this very cool old battlefield from the Civil War. The boys loved running all around in the fields and hills. They also loved posing in front of this old Civil War cannon.
Another fun side trip was a surprise visit to the Legoland Discovery Center. The boys were so excited! There were rides, a 4D movie, a lego brick mini-land to see and lots more!
We also drove an hour or so to visit more relatives and spent a few days with them. We have missed this family so much (it had been 6 years since we've seen some of them!) and it was so special to be able to spend such quality time with them!
Our boys had the best time playing with all of their big cousins. What was the most special, was to witness how the older cousins (ages 11 - 14) would single out the little ones to specifically include them and play with them. It was as if there was no age difference. They all played football together, jumped on the trampoline, played legos, toys, foosball, anything! They just enjoyed each others' company and showed genuine love for each other! :)
And to end this post, here is a sweet photo of the lovely Miss Rose.
Everybody loved holding him. Oh, that sweet newborn smell! And how precious holding a tiny sleeping baby. :)
Since we were out in Georgia for Andrew's birthday, we had fun celebrating him with a delicious birthday cake! We love you Andrew!

It was super cold that day, as you can tell from all our hats, scarves & mittens!

We miss all of our Georgian family already! Especially the sweetest new addition, Lincoln!
