We've had the recent joy of celebrating two very special birthdays of two of the sweetest people we know! The first was Andrew's grandmother, Neva, who recently turned 95, and the second is my grandmother, June, who turned 90 years old today!
The families joined efforts and planned special birthday parties for each of our grandmothers, with lots of people, and lots of fun!
On Saturday, May 16, we drove up to Valencia to celebrate Neva, who is affectionately called "Gigi," for her birthday party at Andrew's parents house.
Then on Saturday, June 6, we celebrated Great Grandma June with a lunch at Fidel's in Solana Beach, then spent the afternoon at her home for dessert and visiting with extended family. All the great-grandchildren who were there loved the bouncy house!
What wonderful lives these women have! And to see how many people gathered together to celebrate them was so special. Each party had a slideshow on display full of old photos of days gone by. It was such a special joy to celebrate them!
