Summertime has officially begun in this house! Today was the last day of Kindergarten for Samuel, and last Thursday was Micah's last day of preschool.
Micah has been enjoying his time off with Mommy so far. He's been painting, riding bikes & scooters, reading books and more. Believe it or not, he's saying "cheese" really big in this picture below.
Last weekend we enjoyed some awesome family time at the Del Mar Fair. :) What a fun, long day we had! The kids loved the rides and games. Samuel even won 3rd place in the hula hoop contest!
Little Miss Rose has been having fun too! Her hair is getting long enough for ponytails! See below - I can't get over her cuteness! Her vocabulary is also growing by the day. Her latest words are: baby, Ana (from Frozen), out, owee, off, shoes, nana (banana), "ook" (for book), hairbow, hat, hot, crayon (hard to decipher this one!), "eez" for squeezie, wawa, mama, dada, wubbie (also hard to decipher!), girl, boy, lego, buckle, and more! Kendall can also say the sounds for lots of animals - cow, dog, cat, duck, lion, dinosaur, bird & pig. She can also sign for milk & please! I can't believe our baby girl will be 1 1/2 next month!
In other news we have upgraded Kendall to the Recaro carseat! She loves it so far and looks so small in it! The funniest thing though, is that she is 17 months old when we switched her from the infant carrier - but the boys were only 10 1/2 months! I think because she's so tiny we never thought to move her! Just for fun, here's a link to Samuel & Micah when they moved into this same carseat!
Just had to throw this one in - Samuel is an awesome master lego builder. Here he is smiling and showing off his lego city he created!
Lastly, here is Samuel on the first (left) and last (right) days of Kindergarten!
We had so much fun watching Samuel perform for us at the Kindergarten ceremony today.
Way to go Samuel! 1st grade here we come! We are so proud of you, buddy!
