Fire Truck Fun!

As a result of Sammy's exposure to fire fighting from his Uncle T (Adam) living with us during his fire academy, we decided to take Samuel & our nephew Stryder to our local fire station this morning. They were happy to show us around the station and let us see the fire trucks. The boys were given Junior Firefighter stickers and fire safety coloring books, and we had a great time meeting and talking to the station's Fire Captain.

The Captain showed us all around the fire station - we saw their big kitchen (with 4 refrigerators!) & eating area, their lounge room with comfy recliners and a big TV screen & their classroom (pictured below). Before we left we each took a picture with the Captain in front of the big fire trucks. Sammy really loved seeing the big fire trucks so close! What a fun morning!
