These past few days have been fun & productive! Today my boys blessed me with enough of a naptime to tidy up the house a bit, finish my sewing project, and spend some time relaxing on the couch in His word. I mentioned
here that I had hopes to find the time to finish changing out the fabric in the armoir, so it matched our new curtains. Here's the before and after pictures... I think it looks really nice now that it coordinates with the curtains. :)
Yesterday Sammy & I had fun trying out a super simple "science experiment" together. All it took was some water, oil, food coloring, and a little waiting, and what we got was some cool fireworks in a pitcher! It was hard to capture the true effect on camera, but here you can get the idea.
On another note, last Saturday we celebrated our nephew's 7th birthday! We had a fun time celebrating him by eating out at BJ's. One of Sammy's favorite parts of the party was the pizookie. I think this picture sums it up quite nicely. :)

i LOVED watching sammy go to town on that pizookie! he was so calm, cool, and collected about it too. everyone else was full and all done and sammy quietly took his spoon and proceeded to polish the rest of it off!! hehehehehe!!!!
