Micah Walking!

On Sunday, July 22, Micah took his very first steps while we were still on vacation in Oregon.  He was holding on to a toy walker, then let go and took his first 2 steps to Andrew!  Immediately after, he took about 4 more steps from Andrew to me!  He didn't take really many more steps until almost a week and a half later, on Thursday, August 2 at his Great Grandmother June's house.  We caught it on film and you can see him taking a series of 3-4 steps to his Mama in the video below.  :)  Its so cute; he really is so proud of himself whenever he takes some steps.  The farthest we've seen him walk thus far is about 10 feet!  But to see it happen, it really depends on his mood - - if he wants to walk, he will!  If he'd rather crawl, then he'll just drop to his knees and won't even take one step.  And that's where we are now... with crawling still being his preferred mode of transportation.  :)  But, he did it!
